Book Description

168 is the result of a collaborative project between Wood and MacLellan undertaken during lockdown 1. Over a period of 168 days, each produced 20 original artworks documenting adapting to living and working at home; the starting point of each weekly response was one of the twenty keys on the socially distanced keyboard of a charity shop typewriter. Each 18pp concertina book is unique and contains a section of eight pieces of paired work that utilise a range of materials and making processes available in the artists homes. The eight keys represented in each book are documented on the front cover and arranged in their position on a typewriter keyboard.  Each book is contained within a hand-made envelope.
